Our Amnicon Hats are made from from Polartec® Power Wool™ - a bi-component knit with a durable polyester outer face and and soft merino inner face. This 42% wool fabric makes a light and soft hat that is great for cool weather and winter athletics.
Note that you can choose between our fixed or rolled band options. The fixed band is sewn in place and is only 2 layers thick. This is the better choice for a hat to go under a helmet, or for those who like the look of a slim band over the ears, it cannot be adjusted. Alternatively, the rolled band is a fold of both the inside and outside layers and is 4 layers thick. This is the better option if you like more warmth over the ears, like to change the depth of the hat, or like the look of a thicker band.
