Our Amnicon hoodies are made from Polartec® wool-blend fabrics. In contrast to many other blended fabrics, which combine polyester and wool within the same thread, Polartec® wool-blends utilizes a bi-component knit that places separate wool and polyester threads where they can be most effective. This unique integration of polyester and wool fibers allows us to make a best-of-both-worlds garment that warm, light, durable, feels great against the skin, and resists odors.
Power Wool™ is a lightweight fabric that is composed of a durable and stretchy outside polyester layer and a Merino wool inside layer. This 42% wool garment is stable, soft and odor resistant.
High Loft™ with wool is a lofty midweight fabric with a durable polyester interior weave that is sandwiched between soft, fuzzy and odor resistant layers of merino wool. This produces is an amazingly light and lofty 52% wool garment that is stable and durable.
*Though much more stable than 100% wool fabrics, High Loft™ with wool should be hang-dried.
