Our Amnicon Hats are made from two layers of Polartec® Power Wool™ - a bi-component knit fabric that has a durable, polyester outer face and and soft, merino wool inner face. This 42% wool hat is soft and lightweight, and is great for winter athletics.
Note that you can choose between our fixed or rolled band options. The fixed band is sewn in place and is two layers thick. This is the better choice for a hat to go under a helmet, or for those who like the look of a slim band over the ears - it cannot be adjusted. Alternatively, the rolled band is four layers thick and adjustable. This is the better option if you like more warmth over the ears, like to change the depth of the hat, or like the look of a thicker band.
