Our Poplar Hats are made from two layers of Polartec® Power Grid® fleece - a midweight material with a grid back that provides an airspace for warmth and airflow next to the skin. Power Grid® is designed to wick moisture and disperse it from the outer layer of the knit, so these make an excellent athletic hat. Also available in baby and kid sizes.
Note that you can choose between our fixed or rolled band options. The fixed band is sewn in place and is two layers thick. This is the better choice for a hat to go under a helmet, or for those who like the look of a slim band over the ears - it cannot be adjusted. Alternatively, the rolled band is four layers thick and adjustable. This is the better option if you like more warmth over the ears, like to change the depth of the hat, or like the look of a thicker band.
